LOVE FOR LEHENGAS For Pooja Hegde, a personal trip back home is often peppered with a multitude of noteworthy sartorial moments. Lehenga, in particular, is a silhouette that has become synonymous with her.

PAINTS THE TOWN RED For a recent trip to Mangalore, Pooja slipped into a beautiful red hand-embroidered lehenga set. It is from the shelves of designer Arpita Mehta's eponymous label and is meant to set Valentine's Day ethnic style goals like never before.

VALENTINE'S DAY FASHION INSPIRATION The bralette blouse featured spaghetti straps, a plunging neckline and an asymmetric hem. It was decked in mirror fringe embellishments that added an ethereal charm to her look. She paired it with a red lehenga skirt that has a high-rise waist, mirror embellishments, sequin embroidery, an A-line silhouette and a floor-length hem.

VISION OF GRACE The lehenga further had a layered ghera and was made from organza fabric and the blouse was of netted material. She styled her look with a hand-embroidered organza dupatta. Gold dangling earrings, matching bracelets and rings rounded off her desi appearance.

COLOUR-BLOCKING   A colour-block lehenga, like Pooja's, is a winning choice to stand out in a sea of monotoned creations. Earlier, she gave royal vibes in this green and pink lehenga choli. The outfit featured a green V-neck blouse with elbow-length sleeves and she paired it with a pastel pink lehenga skirt with enchanting green borders and detailing at the waist.

Her makeup featured pink eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, blushed cheeks, glowing highlighter and a shade of nude lipstick. Her tresses were tied in a bun adorned with pink flowers, for the perfect colour-blocking fashion mood.

DREAMY IN WHITE Pooja has a soft corner for the ivory mood board too. She painted apicture of serenity in this dreamy embroidered silk lehenga set.The skirt featured intricate dori embroidery, cascading down the length in pleants and she teamed it with a matching embroidered blouse boasting a butterfly-shaped hem and a cutout detail at the back.
