TNPSC Combined Technical Services Notification 2024
TNPSC invites online applications for direct recruitment to posts in Combined Technical Services. The commission has announced a total of 118 vacancies for this recruitment drive.
The vacancies are interview posts, which means the commission will conduct an interview with the written exam to select the final candidates. Interested candidates can apply online as the application portal has been opened from the date of notification (15 May 2024) till 14 June 2024.
The Commission will select the applicants based on their performance in the written exam and interview. The examination will take place on 28 July 2024 for Paper I and 12 August 2-24 to 16 August 2024 for Paper II.

TNPSC CTSE Eligibility Criteria 2024
Interested candidates can check their eligibility for the TNPSC Combined Technical Service application from the below eligibility criteria:
Age Limit:
- The applicants must have completed 21 years of age.
- The upper age limit of the candidates depends on the age relaxation of different categories.
Educational Qualification:
- The educational qualifications and experience depend on the post requirement, candidates can check the notification PDF to see the minimum qualification required to apply for the post.
- Applicants should have proper knowledge of the Tamil language.
TNPSC Combined Technical Services Application Fee 2024
The candidates will have to pay the registration fee of ₹150 during One-Time Registration on the Commission’s website. It’s a one-time process, if you have done it before, you don’t need to pay the fee. However, keep in mind that the OTR is valid for five years from the date of registration.
The candidates have to pay the examination fee of ₹200 during the online application submission on the portal. Candidates belonging to special categories can opt for fee exemption availing of the fee concession.
Steps to apply for the TNPSC CTSE 2024
Eligible candidates willing to apply for the 2024 TNPSC Combined Technical Services Application can follow the below steps:
- Go to the TNPSC Apply link mentioned above.
- Now, Click on OTR registration and register as a new user if this is your first time.
- Now, create your Login ID and complete the registration process by entering the required details and uploading the required credentials on the portal.
- Next, click on the Apply Now option on the webpage.
- Next, look out for the Combined Technical Services Examinations (Interview posts) and click on the Apply Now option given in the same row.
- Next, enter your login Ed and password of OTR on the portal to access the application form.
- The information from the OTR will be displayed on your screen, check & confirm the details to proceed further.
- Now, select your examination center preference and upload the required documents to prove your claims made in the application.
- Next, save & preview all the entered details to ensure you have entered valid details.
- Now, pay the application fee as per your category through your preferred payment gateway.
- After the successful transaction, you will receive a confirmation message with the application number for future use.
The candidates can edit the application if they make some mistake in the application between 19 June 2024 to 21 June 2024. However, you must fill out the application carefully to ensure you have entered valid details before the deadline.
