PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme: As we all know, PM Surya Ghar Mukt Bijli Yojana is one of the major schemes started by the central government. The Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, launched the PM Surya Ghar Yojana on 13 February 2024 and launched the PM Surya Ghar National Portal. Under this scheme, the central government had set a target of installing solar panels on the roofs of one crore families. The price of a solar panel depends on the kilowatt of the solar panel. If you install a 2 kilowatt solar panel, then it costs at least Rs 110000.
In which the central government provides a subsidy of ₹60000 whereas the state government will provide a subsidy of ₹50000. Similarly, you will get a subsidy of ₹1 lakh ₹10000. That means you will be able to verify the solar panel absolutely free of cost. Let us tell you that the subsidy of ₹50000 will be given only to poor families whose annual income is less than ₹1180000. In such a case, if the annual income is more than ₹180000 and less than ₹300000. Then in such a case the state government will provide a subsidy of ₹20000.
PM Surya Kar Free Electricity Scheme Haryana Benefits and Features
- Under this scheme, Haryana government will provide subsidy to one lakh poor families for installing solar panels.
- Haryana government will provide a subsidy of ₹50000 for installing 2 kilowatt solar panel to the families with annual income less than Rs.180000.
- At the same time, families with annual income of more than Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand and less than Rs 300000 will be given a subsidy of Rs 20,000 for installing a 2 kilowatt solar panel.
- Through this scheme, beneficiaries will get the benefit of up to 300 units of free electricity every month.
- Residents of Haryana state can get a subsidy of Rs 1 lakh 10 thousand by combining both the central government subsidy and the state government subsidy.

- Native residents of Haryana state can avail the benefit of PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme.
- Families with annual income of less than ₹3,00,000 can join this scheme.
- Haryana government will provide the benefits of this scheme on first come first serve basis.

- First of all go to the official website of PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme pmsuryagarh.gov.in.
- Click on the option “Apply for Rooftop Solar” on the home page.
- Now the application form will appear in front of you, in which you have to register by selecting the name of your state and your electricity distribution centre.
- Now you have to login to the portal and apply for the solar panel scheme to Russia.
- Now the required documents have to be uploaded on the portal.
