Rajasthan Free Laptop Scheme 2024: The Chief Minister of Rajasthan launched the Rajasthan Free Laptop Yojana for the students studying within the state to get more convenience in the professional exams and to know everything in detail from current time to various online exams.

All candidates securing more than 75% marks at state level and 70% marks at district level in 8th, 10th and 12th examination under Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will be distributed free laptops.

Like other educational schemes, this scheme also has several objectives, which we have discussed below.

• The main objective of Rajasthan Free Laptop Yojana is to provide free laptops to the poor gifted students of the state.
• Free laptops will be given to poor gifted students so that they are not left behind in the present digital age.
• The scheme aims to distribute 27,900 laptops every year.
• This scheme is started to provide free laptops to the students so that they can take more interest in their studies.

Rajasthan Free Laptop Scheme Eligibility Criteria

Like other Rajasthan state schemes, there are some eligibility requirements to apply for this Rajasthan free laptop scheme, which we have discussed below:

• The student should be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
• A student should study in any government school located in the state.
• Should have passed 8th, 10th and 12th standard while studying in the state.
• The annual income of the student’s family should be less than 1 lakh rupees.
• In the 8th, 10th and 12th exams, students must secure 75 percent or more marks for the state level merit list and 70 percent or more marks for the district level merit list.

Students need not apply anywhere to avail this free laptop scheme of Rajasthan state. When the 8th, 10th and 12th board exam results are declared, the Rajasthan State Secondary Education Department will prepare the list of eligible students.

Then all those eligible students will be informed by their respective schools and thereafter every eligible student will get a free laptop.
