How Car Recalls Are Reported
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) officially begins car recalls after receiving consumer complaints.

As part of the recall, Hatch said it will offer free replacement power cords for any affected customers.

The product was sold online at Hatch.co, Amazon.com, BuyBuyBaby, Target, Walmart, Nordstrom, Pottery Barn Kids and BestBuy stores nationwide from January 2019 to September 2022.
The CPSC said consumers should stop using the recalled power adapters immediately and contact Hatch for a free replacement power adapter.
