What is the Namo Farmer Maha Samman Nidhi Scheme?
This scheme has been started by the Government of Maharashtra with the aim of providing financial assistance to the economically weak small and marginal farmers of the state. This scheme has been started by the Chief Minister of the state in the year 2023. Under the scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 6000 is being paid every year to the farmers of the state on the lines of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The amount provided under the scheme is released to the farmers in the form of installments of ₹ 2000 at an interval of every four months.
So far, the Maharashtra government has successfully paid three installments to the farmers of the state under this scheme and now the next installment of this scheme will be paid very soon in the bank accounts of the beneficiary farmers. The state government pays financial assistance of ₹ 2000 through the DBT process in the bank accounts of the farmers.
The state government has included about 1.5 crore farmers of the state under the Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana and these farmers are being paid financial assistance of ₹ 2000 by the state government at an interval of every four months.

As we told you, under the scheme, the Maharashtra government pays financial assistance to the farmers every four months, so now the next installment of this scheme can be received by the farmers very soon by the end of June. During which the Maharashtra government will pay financial assistance of ₹ 2000 in the bank account of the farmers.
Eligibility for Namo Shetkari Yojana
- Only farmers who are native residents of Maharashtra can avail the benefits of the scheme.
- The farmer submitting the application form under the scheme should be eligible under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
- The beneficiary farmer should have his own cultivable land.
- The farmer submitting the application form must have his own bank account. The bank account must be Aadhar linked and DBT must be active.

Namo Shetkari Yojana Application Process
Under the Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana launched by the Maharashtra government, the beneficiary farmers of the state are not required to submit the application form.
