What is the Chief Minister’s Urban Housing Scheme?
On the lines of Pradhan Mantri Urban Housing Scheme, the Haryana government has started the Mukhyamantri Urban Housing Scheme. Under this scheme, families of the state whose annual income is less than Rs 180000 will be provided housing at affordable prices. Through this scheme, the state government has set a target of providing housing facilities to one lakh poor families. Under this scheme, cheap flats and flats will be allotted to poor families.

Eligibility for Chief Minister Urban Housing Scheme
- Only poor families living in urban areas who are native residents of Haryana state can avail the benefit of this scheme.
- To avail the benefit of Urban Housing Scheme, the annual income of the family should be less than Rs 180,000.
- The applicant should not have previously availed benefit of any other housing scheme of Central or State Government.
- It is mandatory for the applicant to have previously registered in the family identity card.
