Just as the central government has launched the Ayushman Bharat Yojana across India, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has launched the Chief Minister’s Critical Care Yojana. Initially, every poor family in the state of Jharkhand was given Rs 5,00,000 for treatment.
Due to which those people died without treatment. To solve all those problems, the Chief Minister of the state launched this scheme through the Department of Medical Education and Family Welfare. Beneficiaries can get a maximum of Rs 10,00,000 for treatment under the Chief Minister’s Serious Treatment Scheme.

Objective of Chief Minister Complex Treatment Scheme
Some of the main objectives of the Jharkhand government to launch the Chief Minister Gambhir High Scheme in the state are
- The main objective of launching CM Gambhir Priya Yojana is to provide treatment of poor families in the state of Jharkhand with Rs. 10,00,000 to provide financial assistance.
- There are some financially weak families in the state who face financial crisis at different times for treatment. Therefore, this scheme has been launched to overcome all those financial difficulties.
- The amount of financial assistance for the treatment of critically ill persons under the Chief Minister’s Critical Care Scheme has been increased from Rs 5,00,000 to Rs 10,00,000.
Beneficiaries of Chief Minister’s Serious Treatment Scheme
Under the Chief Minister Gambhir Pariya Yojana, economically deprived families located in the state of Bihar who have BPL ration cards can apply for this scheme and get all the benefits of the scheme.
CM Serious Treatment Scheme Eligibility Criteria
To apply for Chief Minister Gambhir Priya Yojana, applicants must have certain qualifications, which are as follows.
- Applicant should be permanent resident of Jharkhand state.
- Applicant’s family should be included in BPL ration card.
- Annual income of family member Rs. 72,000 or less and can apply for this scheme.
- Applicant’s annual income should be less than 8,00,000 rupees for last 3 years.
- The applicant can avail the benefit of this scheme only if he is suffering from above mentioned diseases – cancer, severe liver disease, kidney transplant and acid attack.
- There is no specific annual income limit for an acid attack victim applicant.

Apply online for Chief Minister’s Serious Treatment Scheme
If you are a resident of Jharkhand state and any member of your family is suffering from any serious illness then you have to follow the below application process carefully.
Step 1: To apply for Chief Minister Gambhir Uchsh Yojana, you have to apply through offline application form. To apply for Jharkhand State Chief Minister Critical Care Scheme first you will get application form free of cost from district level committee office.
Step 2: After getting that application form, you have to fill the application form completely. After filling the applicant’s personal details, contact details and all the information in the application form, the required documents should be added.
Step 3: You have to submit the documents along with the application form at the place from where you have taken the application form.
Step 4: In the next stage, the documents submitted by you along with the application form will be reviewed by the district level committee.
Step 5: A committee will be constituted by the following officers.
- Civil Surgery Chief Medical Officer.
- A suitable person nominated by a senior administrative officer.
- Local Hon’ble MLA/
- District Welfare Officer
- Senior Lady Medical Officer of Sadar Hospital.
- Medical Officer specializing in related diseases.
Step 6: After the approval of the committee as discussed above, the approval by the committee will be communicated to the hospital where the applicant is admitted.
Step 7: After this, the amount of assistance for treatment of the applicant will be paid directly into the account of that hospital.
