The national-level MBA entrance examination conducted by AIMA is open for registration for interested candidates. Every year AIMA conducts the MAT exam four times (Feb, May, Sept, Dec) a year for admission of qualified candidates to MBA programs and allied programs all over India.

The MAT test will become the ticket for many aspiring graduates to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at over 600 Business schools in India.

Important Dates for MAT May 2024

The last date to register for the MAT PBT and CBT modes is 28 May 2024 and 19 May 2024, respectively. The IBT test mode is available in slots; the candidates who wish to register for the IBT test mode must apply before the given deadline.

Eligibility for the 2024 MAT May Registration

Eligibility criteria for the MAT May Registration:

  • Candidates who have graduated from any recognised University or Institution in any discipline can register for the MAT test.
  • Candidates who are in their final year of graduation also qualify to apply for the MAT 2024 test.

The applicants must have the following documents in hand when they register for the MAT May test:

  • Valid Email ID
  • Scanned Photograph of size 10 to 50kb
  • Net Banking Details or Credit/Debit cards
  • Scanned image of candidate’s signature of size 5 to 20kb.

MAT Test Structure and Exam Pattern for May 2024

AIMA conducts the MAT exam which has five subjects with 30 questions each. The candidates will receive a negative mark of -0.25 for every wrong answer. The MAT question paper consists of 150 questions that they have to attempt in 120 minutes.

The graduates or final-year graduate students can register for the MAT May test in the following steps:

  • Go to the official website of AIMA at https://mat.aima.in/
  • Next, fill out your details on the dashboard, such as Email Address, name, password, etc.
  • Next, enter the captcha shown on the site and register yourself for the MAT May 2024.
  • You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, verify the OTP, and Log in to the portal.
  • Next, select your preferred MAT test mode and enter your five preferences of business schools you wish to enroll in.
  • Upload the asked documents, such as photograph and signature on the AIMA MAT portal
  • Now, review the application and pay the application fee as per your MAT test mode.
