The short outro at the end featured both Kane, 50, and former host Mayim, 48.

Until this week, the two were seen huddling on Jeopardy! Splitting the podium and the script, asking fans to subscribe to the channel.

However, Mayim was fired from the popular game show in late 2023.

RIDIN’ SOLO

Now, Jeopardy! Updated the quick segment at the end of his YouTube videos to feature only Ken.

“Hey, thanks for watching. Click the subscribe button and don’t miss a moment,” Kane says now.

Since then Ken has been hosting Jeopardy! Alone for all of 2024, many fans were happy to see the clip updated.

“New ending without Mayim and just Kane. I wonder when they’ll get around to changing it,” one person commented on the first video with the new outro.

“New outro! Glad they finally ditched Mayim Bialik!” Wrote a second.

“Yes! At last,” added a third.

“That seemed like the most likely answer. But… new outro!” Another pointed out.

Bye, Mayim

Following the death of a long-time host Alex Trebek took over the reins of The Big Bang Theory actress and former champion in 2020, initially splitting hosting duties.

Myam was suddenly let go from Jeopardy! In December, Kane becomes the sole host.

On December 15, 2023, she broke the internet by announcing personally on Instagram that she had been fired from the show.

“Sony has informed me that I will no longer host the syndicated version of Jeopardy!” she stated in her post.

Jeopardy! Host timeline

Jeopardy! The hosts have had a tumultuous history since the death of the iconic Alex Trebek in 2020. Here are all the hosts since the game show started in 1964.

Art Fleming – From 1964 to 1975, he was the original host of the daytime version of Jeopardy! on NBC.

Alex Trebek – From 1984 to 2020, the late, great Alex hosted Jeopardy!’s modern iteration for 36 years until his death from pancreatic cancer.

Guest Hosts – 2020 to 2021, Jeopardy! Tested a series of guest hosts for week or two-week periods, including Anderson Cooper, LaVar Burton and Aaron Rodgers.

Mike Richards – 2021, appointed host for one week before resigning amid controversy. He was the executive producer of the show at the time.

Mayim Bialik – From 2021 to 2023, when Mike was announced as the show’s new host, Mayim was chosen to host tournaments and primetime specials.

Mayim and Ken Jennings – From 2022 to 2023, 74-time champion Ken (the longest winning competitor) joined Mayim as a guest host and they split hosting duties.

Ken Jennings – 2023 to present. Last December, Maym announced on Instagram that she would “no longer” be hosting Jeopardy! After a long hiatus, a writer’s strike ensued, and Kane was named sole host.

Ken now controls all versions of Jeopardy! Including other primetime specials such as Celebrity Jeopardy!, nightly shows and Masters.

“I’m incredibly honored to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy for hosting this year and so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Jeopardy! family.

“Thank you to all of you who have supported me on this journey and to the fans, contestants, writers, staff of America’s favorite quiz show.”

About an hour later, official Crisis! The IG page has confirmed this news.

“We have decided to have one host next season for the syndicated show to maintain continuity for our viewers,” the statement explained.

“We are truly grateful for all of Meme’s contributions to Jeopardy!, and we look forward to working with him on primetime specials in the future,” the game show wrote.

Kane also spoke about Mayim’s firing USA Today that he “learned a lot from her.”

“I really enjoyed hosting it,” he added. “But I understand — there’s a reason a TV show doesn’t have two hosts.”
