The Integral Coach Factory, Chennai has launched a recruitment to recruit individuals for the ICF Chennai Apprentice program. There are 1010 positions open for recruitment. ICF Apprentice Recruitment Vacancy Details
The ICF is recruiting freshers for its all new Apprenticeship programme. The apprenticeship program will accept both Fresher candidates as well as Ex-ITI students. In this Apprenticeship program, there are various trades, on which practical training with live work experience will be given to the trainees. ICF Chennai Apprentice Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must be fully aware about the eligibility criteria. These criteria are very important for this Apprenticeship recruitment. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria set by the Integral Coach Factory will not be selected in this apprenticeship program. The eligibility criteria for the ICF Chennai Apprentice Program 2024 are given below:
- The Ex-ITI applicants must be at least 15 years old. The maximum age limit on the other hand is 24 years.
- For the non-ITI candidates the age boundary is 15-22 years.
Age relaxations for the reserved candidates are available. The SC/ST candidates will get an age relaxation of 5 years. The OBC candidates will get an age relaxation of 03 years. The PwD candidates will be able to get an age relaxation of 10 years.
- Educational Qualification:
Candidates applying for Fitter, Electrician and Machinist must have passed 10th class examination with at least 50% marks.
Science & Maths in 10+2 is also required.
National trade certificate is required from the national or state council.
Candidates applying for Carpenter, Painter and Welders should have NTC certificates issued by National or State Council For Vocational Training.
Candidates applying for PASSA must have cleared 10th examination and should have a NTC certificate in the Computer Operator and Training Assistance trade.
The Freshers applying for the Fitter, Electrician, Machinist must have passed 10th exam with minimum 50% score. And they must have Science and Maths in their 10+2 course.
Freshers applying for the Carpenter, Painter and Welder must have passed 10th examination with at least 50% marks.
Freshers applying for the MLT Radiology and Pathology must have cleared the 12th examination with PCB.
ICF Chennai Apprentice Recruitment Application Process
The application process for the ICF Chennai Apprentice Recruitment has started on May 22, 2024. The application process will end on the given deadline ie June 21, 2024. Candidates who are aspiring to participate in the apprenticeship program will have to complete their application before the given deadline. The step by step ICF Apprentice application process is being given below:
- After that click on the “Apply for ACT Apprentice 2024-25” option.
- Click on the “Fill Online Application” option and choose Ex-ITI or Fresher status as per your qualification.
- Enter all the basic details such as personal and qualification details of yours, on the given sections.
- After all the details are filled out, lock the application form and wait for the OTP to arrive.
- After the completion of the OTP verification process, upload a passport size photo and other required documents.
- Next, pay the application fee online.
- After fee payment is successful, you’ll have to generate an acknowledgement notice from the portal.
- Keep a printout of the acknowledgement notice. This will be required for the official document verification later.

The Application Fee for the ICF Chennai Apprentice Recruitment will have to be submitted at the end of the application process. The application fee for different candidates will be different. Candidates belonging from SC,ST, PwD categories as well as women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. Candidates from other categories must pay an amount of ₹100 as application fee via the payment methods accepted by the ICF Chennai.
