IAF Agniveer Vayu Musician Notification 2024: The Indian Air Force has released the notification to recruit unmarried male/female candidates as Agniveervayu (Musicians) through a recruitment rally. IAF invites unmarried male/ female candidates from all over India to join IAF as Agniveer vayu (Musician) for four years. Its distinct rank in IAF is different from other existing ranks, offered only for a designated period.
The eligible candidates would go through a selection process held at a recruitment rally scheduled from 3 July 2024 to 12 July 2024. The Recruitment rally for the IAF Agniveer Vayu recruitment will commence at 3 ASC C/ O AF Stn Kanpur and 7 AS, No. 1 Cubbon Road, Bengaluru on the scheduled date.
Candidates who wish to participate in the recruitment rally need to register for the rally on the web portal of IAF Agnipath Vayu. Registration for the rally will begin from 22 May 2024 till 5 June 2024.
The selection of the candidates is based on the candidate’s performance on the English written test, proficiency test in playing musical instruments, Physical Fitness test, adaptability test-II, and medical examinations as per the IAF guidelines.
The authorities will publish the Provisional Selection List (PSL) at the respective recruitment rally venue on 11 November 2024 and also on the CASB portal.
IAF Agniveer Vayu Musician Eligibility Criteria 2024
Interested Candidates can check their eligibility to register and join the recruitment rally for the recruitment of IAF Agniveer Vayu (musician) recruitment drive:
Age Limit:
- Candidates born between 2 January 2004 and 2 July 2007 can register.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed the Class 10th or equivalent course with minimum passing marks from any recognised board and school.
- Candidates should be proficient in singing one song in one go with accurate tempo & pitch. Candidates must be able to perform any preparatory tune and any of the notations mentioned in the notification.
- Candidates must be proficient in playing any one instrument given in List A or B in the notification.
Musical Experience Certificate: Candidates can have any of the following experience certificates:
- Experience certificate of Grade 5th or equivalent or above in the mentioned instrument from a recognised music institute.
OR
- Certificates of participating or awards at various music events.
OR
- Diploma or equivalent certificate in the music field for candidates performing Carnatic Classical or Hindustani music from any recognised industry.

Documents Required for the IAF Agniveer Vayu Musician Recruitment Rally 2024
Candidates willing to apply for the Air Force Agniver Vayu recruitment drive will need to bring their musical instruments for the practical test, Provisional Admit Card along with the following documents original and four self-attested copies:
- Class 10th mark sheet and certificate
- Music qualification and experience certificate
- NOC certificate from the previous employer
- NCC certificates (if applicable)
- Consent Form
- Discharge Certificates for candidates discharged from any armed forces.
- Children’s certificate filed by COAFP on a regular basis

All the candidates need to pay ₹100 as a registration fee to register for the recruitment rally. The registration fee can be paid through any online method through a payment gateway.

Candidates willing to show up at the recruitment rally must register on the CASB portal in the following steps, once the portal opens the registration window on 22 May 2024:

- Now, complete your registration by entering the required details, such as personal details, address details, qualification details, etc.
