Introduction to HPPSC HPAS Exam
The HPPSC HPAS exam is conducted to recruit officers for various administrative positions in Himachal Pradesh. It is a highly competitive exam. Thousands of candidates apply every year. The exam has three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interview.
HPPSC HPAS Exam Pattern
Preliminary Exam
The preliminary exam is the first stage. It consists of two papers.
- Paper I: General Studies
- Paper II: Aptitude Test
Both papers are objective type. Each paper is of 200 marks. The duration of each paper is two hours.
Main Exam
Candidates who qualify the prelims are eligible for the main exam. The main exam has a total of eight papers.
