Eligibility for Jharkhand E-Kalyan Scholarship Scheme

• E-Kalyan Scholarship Scheme Only permanent residents of Jharkhand can avail the benefit.
• In this scheme, only the students of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and OBC category will be provided benefits.
• If the annual income of the applicant’s family is more than Rs 2.5 lakh, then that family is not eligible for this scheme.
• The applicant must have his own bank account as the scholarship amount will be transferred to the beneficiaries’ bank account only. Also, it is mandatory for the bank account to be linked to Aadhaar.
• If the candidate is taking benefit of any other scholarship scheme then he/she will not be benefited under this scheme.
• If the candidate is pursuing general graduation or any other diploma course from any state, university or institute outside Jharkhand, then he/she will not get this scholarship.
