To apply online for the WB TET 2024 for Primary or Upper-Primary, candidates will have to enter accurate personal details and educational qualifications, upload a recent photograph and signature, and pay the required fee by the deadline. WB TET Eligibility Criteria 2024

Applicants must meet one of the following educational qualifications to be eligible for the Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 for Primary or Upper-Primary.

Primary:

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and one of the following:
    • 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd)
    • 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
    • Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Upper Primary:

  • A candidate must have pursued Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and one of the following:
    • 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd).
    • 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
    • 2-year Bachelor of Education (BEd)
    • 4-year Bachelor of Science/Arts/Commerce cum Bachelor of Education (BA/BSc/BCom.BEd)

WB TET Application Fee 2024

To apply for WB Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 for Primary or Upper-Primary, a General candidate will have to make payment of ₹500/- as application fee, the payable amount for Other Backward Class (A/B) is ₹300/-, and aspirants who belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes or Physically Handicapped will have to pay only ₹250/- by the deadline of fee submission.
