BSF Recruitment 2024 Vacancy Details

There are a total of 2140 positions open to recruiting new candidates for the Tradesman aka Constable positions. The vacancies are divided among male and female candidates. 1723 male individuals will be hired in the recruitment while in the rest 417 positions, female candidates will be hired.

BSF Tradesman Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are the key requirements the candidates need to meet to get selected in the recruitment. The Eligibility criteria for BSF Tradesman Recruitment 2024 are as follows:

The candidates need to be between 18 years and 25 years old, to be eligible for the recruitment.

• Educational Qualification:

BSF Constable Recruitment Application Fee

The application fee will have to be submitted in the portal at the end stage of the application process. The fee submission process will be online through the payment methods accepted by the BSF authorities. Candidates belonging to the General, EwS and OBC categories will have to pay ₹100 as application fee. The SC, ST, Female & ESM candidates are exempted from any fee submission.

BSF Recruitment Selection Process 2024

The selection process for the BSF Recruitment 2024 will happen in a few steps, candidates completing all the steps successfully will be selected and hired.

• PST (Physical Standard Test):

This is the first stage of the selection process. This includes a 1 mile run, high jump and long jump.

• PET (Physical Efficiency Test):

In this test, the height, weight and chest are measured compared to the reference standard measures.

Upon passing the previous stages, the candidate will be called for Documents Verification to assess the details in the application form of the candidate.

At this stage, a trade test will be taken to test the practical skills of the candidate.

A written test examination will be taken in this stage to assess the candidate’s general knowledge, awareness and aptitude.

This is the final stage of the selection process. A medical examination will be done on the candidates to check their health status.

After all these procedures are done, the organization will launch a final list of selected candidates who will be able to join their designated positions briefly.

Salary Details

After getting posted on their designated positions, the candidates can expect a salary of ₹21,700 to ₹69,100, on pay level 3. The benefits will also include different allowances as per government policies.
